“Kaushalya”: Cultural and Arts Programs Organized at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai

The University Education Department (UTD) of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai, under the guidance of Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Arun Arora, is organizing various cultural and arts-based competitions and programs titled “Kaushalya” from March 10 to 13, 2026, to encourage student talent.

The program was inaugurated on March 10, 2026, in the presence of Dr. Amit Singh Rajput (Registrar), Dr. Pankaj Mishra (Director, UTD), Dr. Rohit Miri, Dr. Toran Verma, and Dr. Deepti Verma.

The events held today included the Best Costume Competition, Reel Making Competition, Best Ramp Walk Competition, and Drama Competition, in which students participated enthusiastically and showcased their talents.

The events to be held on March 11, 2026, will include a Drawing/Painting/Rangoli Competition, Dance and Music Special Performance, Stand-up Comedy, Fun Activities, Prize Distribution, Concert and DJ Night.

Following this, on March 12 and 13, 2026, various events will be organized under the "Lokarpan 2026 (Local Art Event)" to promote traditional and local art. These events will include attractive events such as Art and Painting, Traditional Singing and Dance Competition, and Traditional Dressing Showcase.

The objective of this event is to promote creativity, cultural expression, and awareness of traditional art among students. The University administration has encouraged all students to actively participate in these events.

Dr. Harish Ghritalhare, Dr. Manish Sinha, along with members of the organizing committee, Dr. Richa Sahu, Sandhya Ganwar, Divya Shukla, Basanti Minj, Vandana Chandrakar, Ramakant Ganjeshwar, Shesh Narayan Sahu, Poorvi Chandrakar, Dr. Shivangi Chandrakar, Gaurav Agarwal, and Dr. Ashish Sharma were present at the event. Also present were university professors, staff, and a large number of students.
